Les Bois Wines is an international Wine Bar located in downtown Boise, Idaho.

We are far from your traditional wine bar.  You’re certain to not receive structured releases, recipe pairings, or endless technical notations. You’re entering our world of periodic pleasures, available those curious enough to enter.  Curated in the moment, wines will be available to purchase on a first-come basis. We hold a themed tasting each week centered on wines from a specific region, grape, philosophy, or wine making technique.

SEPTEMBER: INTO THE VINEYARD

September 1st – 6th — EARTH
We start underground: limestone, granite, volcanic soils, slate, clay, gravel and the ways different ground changes how a vine grows.

September 8th – 13th — VINE
Old vines, young vines, ungrafted vines, trellises, bush vines and some of the wonderfully bizarre ways humans have figured out how to grow grapes.

September 15th –20th — FRUIT
The grape itself. Big berries, tiny berries, thick skins, thin skins, loose clusters, tight clusters—and why those differences end up mattering in your glass.

September 22nd–27th — SKY
Finally we zoom all the way out: cool climates, hot climates, oceans, mountains, elevation, wind, sunlight and the enormous difference the sky above a vineyard can make.
